About Soditic

Soditic is a diversified financial services organization active in the fields of investment research, asset management, corporate finance and trade finance.

Soditic SA was established in 1971, in Geneva, Switzerland. Its original shareholders were Banca Commerciale Italiana (Banca Intesa) and Banque de Paris et des Pays Bas (Paribas). Later, the family of Maurice Dwek and the firm’s managing partners became shareholders.

S.G.Warburg & Co. acquired a minority interest in the firm in 1981 and subsequently increased its stake to 50% in 1987 and to 100% in 1990 at which point Soditic became S.G. Warburg Suisse S.A.

Following Swiss Bank Corporation’s acquisition of S.G.Warburg, Soditic was re-launched in 1996 by Maurice Dwek and a new management team in partnership with Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup) and Mercury Asset Management. Over the years, Soditic repurchased the stakes of its minority shareholders and the group is currently owned by its managing partners.
